How to Get a Student ID Card
- When: Cards can be printed when NMT Libraries are open.
- Where: Perth, Midland, Joondalup – Kendrew, Leederville, Mt Lawley and Balga campus libraries.
- Cost: $12.00*
Process
- Pay for your Student ID Card.
- Library staff will take your photo.
- Your card will be printed immediately with your Student ID number.
Annual Update
If you already have a card just update your yearly sticker by visiting a TAFE library.
Why Get a Student ID Card?
- It’s easier and quicker to swipe a card than log in manually to print, scan and photocopy.
- Required for Tertiary SmartRider verification when student ID is requested by Transperth staff.
- Provides proof of student concession for discounts.
- Maybe needed at placement for some courses (e.g. Nursing).
Note: Student ID cards are optional but highly recommended.
Lost Card? If your card is lost and you need a replacement, you will need to purchase a new one.
Payment Information:
*Note: Library staff can only take payment via a physical credit card. Cash and contactless payments can instead be made at client services, and receipt taken to library for card printing.
